• This is only a common loan application platform, the Interviews and loan approval process will be
carried out by the respective NGO Teams, upon review of the loan application received on this
platform.
• Applying for a loan on this platform does not guarantee an approval. Approval will be subject to
an assessment of the applicant's educational credentials and their family's financial strength, the
University and the country where student wish to study.
• Students who miss their interview appointments may have their applications rejected.
• A fresh application must be submitted each year to renew the loan, along with required documents
and the latest progress reports.
• Second- year loan without timely submission of semester progress reports are likely to be
rejected.
• Further Applications from the students who left the course in between, without any reasonable
cause may be liable to be rejected.
• Until the loan is fully repaid, the applicant must annually update their residence, workplace
and/or academic details.
• Upon completion of the course, the applicant must inform the committee and start repaying the loan
in monthly instalments as per the decided dates.
• Applicants who discontinue their studies must immediately repay the loan, and the committee may
set the terms for repayment afresh.
• Each NGO and its committee may decide when the applicant should start repayment by way of monthly
instalments or otherwise.
• Loans disbursed in Mumbai must be repaid there and are subject to Mumbai jurisdiction.
• A Promissory Note from a reputable guarantor or the applicant's parents is required, regardless of
the loan amount.
• Incorrect/false information will result in rejection of the application.
• The Trustees and/or members of committees of respective NGOs are not responsible for any
unforeseen circumstances.
• The defaulting applicant and his/her family members will be debarred from any further
benefits/schemes of the NGOs.
